    Nicolas Pinnoy

    I have a passion for people and organisations.

     

    As a senior HR professional, I am a change ambassador who wins hearts and minds, leads with empathy & integrity, is great at coaching & training and is passionate about talent & leadership development. As a natural communicator, I excel in facilitating discussion and inspiring others to embrace a shared vision. With an unwavering drive and "can do" attitude, I take ownership and deliver results with quality.

     

    Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to creating an environment where employees thrive and organisations succeed.

     

    As a senior HR professional at Stora Enso, I have supported a global workforce of 700 employees in 21 countries, and I have led annual strategic workforce planning routines, spearheaded company-wide initiatives to enhance talent and leadership capabilities. I am particularly proud of the successful rollout of a Sales Leadership programme which empowered local sales teams to achieve record-high sales within two years.

     

    As acting SVP HR, I have led a remote team of 8 HR Business Partner, and together we managed the people & culture agenda for a business unit overseeing 4.400 empoyees. In this role, I steered for example DEIB initiatives, with a particular focus on gender diversity which resulted in an increased share of female hires and an improved gender pay equity.

     

    Previous to HR, I've led an international Customer Service Center focusing on integration & centralisation, achieving downsizing targets and enhancing efficiency in order-to-cash processes.

     

    What sets me apart, is my previous business experience, fluency in four languages, analytical nature and curiosity coupled with an experience in HR. As I understand perspectives beyond my HR area, I'm able to connect with stakeholders across different cultures, functions and all levels of an organsation.
